FAQ's

What Are Natural Beaded Row Extensions?

Natural Beaded Row (NBR) Extensions are a method of adding volume and length to your hair using minimal points of contact for a more natural, seamless blend. The extensions are attached with a beaded track, allowing them to lay flat against your head, making them virtually undetectable. NBR extensions are customized to match your hair’s color and texture, offering a comfortable and secure fit without the need for glue, tape, or heat, resulting in less damage to your natural hair.

I’m new to color. Where should I start?

We’ll start with a consultation at the beginning of your appointment. Whether you're covering grays, going lighter, or just want to refresh your tone, I’ll walk you through options that fit your lifestyle and comfort level.

How do I know if hair extensions are right for me?

If your hair feels thin, won’t grow past a certain point, or you just want more fullness or length, extensions might be the right fit. We’ll walk through your goals during a consultation and come up with a plan that works for your lifestyle—not just your hair.

What’s the difference between balayage, highlights, and dimensional color?

Balayage is hand-painted and creates soft, lived-in brightness. Highlights are done with foils for a more consistent lift. Dimensional color usually blends light and dark tones with a base color to create depth and movement. Don’t worry—I'll help you choose the right one for your goals.

How often do they have to be maintained?

To prevent damage and give you optimal comfort I will need to see you every 6 to 8 weeks depending on your hair growth.

How much is the NBR™ Hair Extension Experience?

Consultations are  very important to me. Each consult will be personalized to you and your hair needs so that you walk out the door with the hair of your dreams. Most first time clients can expect to invest $2000 to $4000 depending on the color and length desired. This initial investment covers NBR™ Hair Extensions, seamless color, your cut, and style.

What’s the difference between one row, two rows, or three rows of extensions?

One row adds fullness (great if your ends feel thin), two rows give you fullness and length, and three rows are best for short or thick natural hair that needs full coverage. We’ll figure out what you need based on your natural hair and your goals.. â€‹â€‹

How long will my color last?

That depends on the service and how often you wash your hair. Glosses and toners usually last 4–6 weeks, while root touch-ups and all-over color last closer to 6–8 weeks. I’ll recommend the best products and timing to keep your color fresh between appointments.

Can I get color and extensions at the same time?

Yes! In fact, I color match your extension hair before the install so everything blends perfectly. If you’re getting both, we’ll talk about timing and book your appointments accordingly.

Will extensions damage my natural hair?

Not when they’re applied and maintained properly. I use a method that’s gentle on your hair and scalp, and I’ll teach you exactly how to care for them so your natural hair stays healthy underneath.

How often do I have to get new hair?

Using professional products suggested and proper care your extensions can last 3-6 months. I will advise you on when your hair should be replaced. You don't have to buy all new hair, instead we can replace 2 to 4 wefts per row depending on which pieces need to be replaced. â€‹â€‹
