What to Expect at Your First Appointment
(and What You Can Stop Worrying About)

Your appointment is coming up soon, and I want you to feel calm, clear, and cared for when you walk through the door.

​

Meeting a new stylist, and trying a new service, can bring up all kinds of thoughts:
Will they listen to what I want? Will it take forever? Will I be surprised by the price?


Totally normal. And I’ve got you.

Let me walk you through the most common questions new guests have (and how I’ve designed your experience to answer them before you even have to ask):

Where’s the salon?

​

You’ll find us at 4408 Menaul Blvd NE, Suite B, Albuquerque, NM 87110.


We’re in the Hill Shopping Center, right next to Metro PCS.

Where should I park?

​

There’s a private parking lot with lots of space.

​

You’re welcome to park in any open spot, especially the three spaces directly in front of the salon.

How do I know I’ll love my hair?

​

This is the big one. And here’s the truth: your happiness is the entire point.


We’ll start your appointment with a 20-minute consultation where I’ll learn about your hair history, your lifestyle, and your goals, today and long-term.

 

I’ll offer a plan, and if anything doesn’t feel right to you, we’ll keep talking until it does. No rush, no pressure.

How long will my appointment take?

Here’s a quick breakdown to help you plan your time:

  • Color services:

    • New Guest Classic Color – about 2.5-3 hours

    • New Guest Blonde Collection – about 3.5-4 hours

    • New Guest Dimensional Color – about 3.5-4 hours

    • New Guest Complete Color - about 4-4.5 hours

I always begin and end appointments on time so you can count on a smooth day.

Will I know the price ahead of time?

​

Absolutely. All pricing is listed on my website, and there are no surprise fees. Plus you have the option of adding on a haircut, conditioning treatments or a scalp detox.

 

If we adjust your service plan during the consultation, we’ll talk through it together before anything is done—so you always know what to expect.

What if I’m not happy with my hair?

​

Let’s be real, this is the fear most guests carry. But here’s the good news:
We’ll be in communication before, during, and after your appointment. I’ll check in with you throughout to make sure we’re on the same page and that you feel great.

​

You won’t leave the salon until we’re both confident in the results.
